System Requirements

Hardware Recommendations

Although our preferred Network Operating System is Windows 2003, we do support various versions of Unix. For details of the System Requirements for Unix and other configurations, please contact us.

Multi-User System

These requirements are based on a typical client/server configuration.

Server requirements:

• Dedicated Server with Dual Core Intel Xeon 2.0 GHz or higher (Intel Core 2 Duo Minimum);

• Windows 2003 ;

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher;

• 2GB RAM (1 GB Minimum);

• 36 GB SCSI HDD or greater depending on data;

• For improved disk contention, multiple small disks for database files;

• Recommend controller based RAID 1 mirroring (RAID 5 is not recommended for databases);

• 10,000 RPM or higher disk speed;

• CDRW drive;

• Backup tape drive;

• VGA monitor (1024x768 resolution or higher).

Network requirements:

• TCP/IP protocol;

• 100 Mbps network card for server and workstations;

• Minimum 100 Mbps switched network.

Workstation requirements:

• Intel Core2 Duo (Pentium IV Minimum);

• Windows XP Pro with latest service packs;

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher;

• 1 GB RAM (512 MB Minimum);

• 4 GB free disk space;

• VGA monitor (1024x768 resolution or higher).
